Fine Art Template

About this post: Sometimes a picture itself isn't enough. Many times you will want to put this picture into a layout for different reasons and a good way to do this is with clipping mask. This way you can make a template and then put any picture behind the the picture that you want.

Title: Farm Equipment
Date/Time: 6/4/11, 7:52 PM
Location: Rupert, ID
F-Stop: f/1.8
Shutter Speed: 1/1600
Camera: Canon EOS 60D
Other: The photo was taken at my in-law's farm around sunset. In Photoshop I used positioned the 5 rectangles and then created a clipping mask in order to have the photo behind.

Title: Chaos
Date/Time: 5/15/11, 4:33 PM
Location: 1/1250
F-Stop: f/2.5
Shutter Speed: 1/1250
Camera: Canon EOS 60D
Other: My family has a game called Skunk. It is played with dice and poker chips. We were playing on a card table and stacked up all of the chips and then someone hit the table and they all went flying. I thought that would be a cool to take a picture of the action. I used Photoshop to make a clipping mask and put the picture behind it.
